It has been reported that a battle broke out between the military group and the local defense forces in Mogok town of Mandalay region today, 29th August at 8:00 am.

It is said that there was a battle between joint forces of People's Liberation Army (PLA) - the PDF Mogok strategy forces and the military group around Laung Zin and Yae Wai villages in Mogok.

Locals said to Mandalay Free Press (MFP) that some gunshots could still be heard, but the details of the situation are unknown.

"I think you will hear gunshots voices on the outskirts of Mogok. We will be releasing a statement soon," Red Wolves Of Mogok revealed.

Red Wolves Of Mogok has also asked the residents for help in reporting the activities of the military group in Mogok via Facebook Messenger.

Last 3rd August, in the boundary of Mogok and Moe Meit Township, the local defense forces went and attacked the No.348 infantry, battalion of the terrorist military group near the entrance of Moe Meit city.
